- Card-issuing platform Marqeta Inc. said in the first year of a partnership with Zip Co., an Australia-based buy now, pay later provider that recently changed its U.S. branding to Zip from Quadpay, it experienced a 350% year-over-year increase in BNPL net revenue in the 2021 second quarter.
- Payments and buy now, pay later provider Klarna AB has launched what it calls a “livestream shopping series” with beauty-products seller Beautycounter as part of a marketing program the two companies initiated last year.
- Payments-technology provider Agile Financial Systems launched APEX, a set of products aimed at aiding businesses with mobile, e-commerce, and card-present transactions.
- Payments technology provider NMI said it received funding from private equity firm Insight Partners and existing investors. The amount was not disclosed.
- Paysafe Ltd. launched its Paysafe Publishers marketplace, a service to help e-commerce merchants use the affiliate marketing channel for customer acquisition and other revenue opportunities.
- In related news, Paysafe said it expanded a deal with Betfred USA Sports, a sports betting operator in five states, that sees Betfred USA Sports use the affiliate marketing software of Paysafe’s Income Access, Paysafe’s marketing technology and services provider.

- Payoneer Global Inc. made three appointments to its staff, including promoting Keren Levy, chief operating officer to president; naming Arnon Kraft as the new chief operating officer; and appointing Pamela H. Patsley to its board of directors.
