Merchant Lynx Acquires National Credit Card Processing; 365 Retail Markets, First American Launch Terminals

Merchant Lynx Services has acquired National Credit Card Processing Group, a provider of B2B payment solutions, for an undisclosed sum. National Card Processing specializes in payment acceptance for the construction and heavy-duty trucking parts and repairs, concrete ready mix, asphalt and aggregate supply, and highway civil construction industries.

The acquisition expands Merchant Lynx’s portfolio, which is focused on the hospitality and auto service verticals, as well as many other fast-growth software-as-a-service businesses. Merchant Lynx additional acquisitions are planned to grow its business, as well as through organic growth.

“We are thrilled to bring National Credit Card Processing under our umbrella and to capitalize on our expansion into the markets in which they have achieved great success,” Merchant Lynx chief executive and president, John P. Kucyk, said in a statement.

The MM6 Mini Kiosk from 365 Retail Markets has a 15.6-inch touchscreen.

In related news, 365 Retail Markets, a provider of payment technology for unattended retail environments, has launched the MM6 Mini, a kiosk for food-service operators and micro markets. The kiosk enables self-service checkout, provides upsell recommendations, and enables consumers to order ahead and place custom orders. Consumers can also use the kiosk to look-up items without barcodes and view transaction details. Food service and micro market operators with adjacent locations can use a single kiosk for both market and café purchases to improve operating efficiency, 365 Retail says.

“Considering the transition of business and industry towards smaller office spaces with hybrid work models, we firmly believe that the MM6 Mini is the ideal solution for catering to workplace refreshment services in this evolving landscape,” Boris Amegadjie, chief product officer for 365 Retail, says in a statement.

Epos Now’s technology allows merchants to connect their sales, reporting, inventory-management, and billing-application functions with their POS system on a single platform.

“With Epos Now, retailers and restaurant owners can combine the system’s full range of tools with First American’s platforms, sophisticated customer and technical support, to better manage and grow their businesses,” Shawn Dillon, executive vice president of sales for First American, says in a statement.
