• The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued final approval of a $37.5 million settlement in a class-action case, Reyes v. Zions First National Bank, attorneys for the class announced. In the case, plaintiffs alleged Zions Bank and a former payment-processing subsidiary knowingly handled payments for fraudulent telemarketers.
• Mobile-ticketing provider Atom Tickets said that starting Monday users who buy a ticket for the new release “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” will also be able to buy additional products available on its ticketing app and Web site, taking the company beyond movie tickets and concessions for the first time.
• Point-of-sale terminal maker and payments software provider VeriFone Systems Inc. announced an expanded agreement with merchant acquirer Worldpay under which Worldpay will offer more VeriFone products to its U.K. customers, including the VX690 portable device.
• Cybersecurity firm Trend Micro Inc. has begun offering its Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service solution on Amazon.com Inc.’s Amazon Web Services marketplace.
