Most Pay Bills Online and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• Fifty-six percent of all bills in the U.S. are paid online at a biller, bank, or third-party site, according to data from ACI Worldwide and Aite Group. Of these, 72% are now paid at biller sites.

Digital-payments company Proxama PLC has agreed to provide payments services to clients of payment card maker CPI Card Group in North America.

Elegant MicroWeb said it is working with an unnamed U.S. software company to deliver a system to restaurants that offers online ordering integrated with delivery, as well as customer service and payment gateways.

Startup Piggy LLC said its online coupon and rewards service now has more than 240,000 users and more than 2,000 participating retailers. Piggy’s browser extensions work with the Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox browsers and search the Internet for deals and coupons, automatically adding them to users’ shopping carts at checkout.

Buildium, whose property-management tool allows real-estate managers to collect rents and fees online, said it is expanding its service into Canada. The processor behind Buildium is Forte Payment Systems.
