- Performance Matters, which offers professional instruction for public-school educators, has agreed to use SchoolPay, a unit of My Payment Network, to process payments for professional development for teachers in kindergarten through 12th-grade classrooms.
- MoneyOnMobile Inc., a Dallas-based company with operations in India, said it processed more than 1 million domestic transfers in August, reaching the 1-million mark for the first time 20 months after startup.
- TerraPay, which says it is the world’s first mobile-payments switch, said it has received approval from the Reserve Bank in South Africa to launch cross-border money transfers in that country.
- Payza introduced its Cryptocurrency Address Manager, which the payment platform provider says enables its users to generate their own Bitcoin addresses and QR codes from within their Payza accounts to receive Bitcoin from other Bitcoin wallets.
- Automated clearing house governing body NACHA announced several executive changes, including the appointment of its general counsel, Jane Larimer, to the new position of chief operating officer, reporting to CEO Janet O. Estep. Larimer will continue as general counsel.
