NAB CEO Offers Details on TMS Acquisition and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• North American Bancard Holdings Inc. and Total Merchant Services Inc. will retain their unique brands and products in the immediate future following NAB’s acquisition of TMS, said NAB chief executive Marc Gardner. NAB announced the TMS acquisition last week. “The TMS brand will remain intact, its sales staff remains as is and the employees will remain in their current roles,” Gardner tells Digital Transactions News. “Those details will continue to be evaluated as we progress to the finalization of the deal in Q2.” Gardner also said that decisions about the individual brand strategies will take place once the deal is finalized.

Ziosk LLC, maker of a tabletop tablet that allows customers to order and pay for meals, has signed Main Event Entertainment, operator of 38 bowling-themed dining establishments.

AuthenticID Inc., an identity-verification supplier, is adding real-time identity authorization for payment card transactions to its CatfishAIR Identity Platform.

Payments provider Payscout Inc. said its processing services are now available to users of HealPay, which develops software for the property-management, accounts receivable, health care, and municipalities verticals.

ShareASale, an affiliate-marketing network, has integrated services from cross-border payments processor Payoneer to enable payouts in local currency to more than 100,000 publishers in more than 50 countries.

American Express Co.’s OPEN program launched its Blue Business Plus credit card for small businesses. The card offers double Membership Rewards on the first $50,000 in spending each calendar year.

Private-label card processor Alliance Data Corp. has agreed to become the primary provider of card services for Signet Jewelers’ U.S. brands, including Kay Jewelers, Jared, and nine regional brands. One Signet brand, Zale, has been an Alliance Data client since 2013.
