Nayax’s Self-Checkout Kiosk And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 7/13/22

  • Payments platform Nayax Ltd. announced the availability of the Nova Market self-checkout kiosk in its U.S. e-commerce shop. The device is aimed at micro-merchants.
  • Open Payment Network said its application programming interface is linking Bridge Community Bank to The Clearing House Payments Co. LLC’s real-time payments network.
  • CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. announced that Peoples Trust Co. in Canada has selected its technology to link to that country’s Automated Clearing Settlement System (ACSS). Peoples Trust is said to be the first new direct participant linking to ACSS in almost 40 years.
  • Nearly one-third of employees across industries are likely to click on a link or request planted by a phishing operation, according to the 2022 Phishing by Industry Benchmarking Report, issued by KnowB4, a provider of security-awareness training.
  • Bluefin Payment Systems said Waystar, maker of health care payments software, will use Bluefin’s point-to-point encryption service and payment gateway.
  • The payments platform Infinicept announced that Authvia, a provider of conversational-commerce technology, has joined the Infinicept Partner Network, a group of software and fintech firms specializing in embedding payments in business software.
