- Payments provider Nuvei Corp. announced an integration with Block Inc.’s Cash App, allowing Nuvei merchants to more easily adopt Cash App Pay for online checkouts.
- Worldpay LLC announced it is now operating as an independent company following the close of an $18.5-billion transaction that saw private-equity firm GTCR acquire 55% of its equity, with 45% retained by former owner FIS Inc.
- Repay Holdings Corp. said it is integrating its technology with software from Lexop, a specialist in credit unions and other financial institutions, to enable past-due payments from consumers.
- Payments processor Deluxe Corp. reported revenue of $537.4 million for its December quarter, down slightly year-over-year, while revenue for the year was virtually flat at $2.19 billion. Revenue from payments rose 2% in the quarter, to $174.9 million, and was also up 2% for the year, to $690.7 million.
- Gift card specialist Factor4 LLC completed an integration with LMS-POS, a point-of-sale system maker for liquor and retail stores.
- Visa Inc. said it will work with Bulgaria-based Fibank to develop credit and debit cards featuring the official design of the Olympic and Paralympic Games scheduled for later this year in Paris.
- Payments platform Adyen NV said it is working with Bill, a financial-technology developer, to develop acquiring and issuing capabilities for Bill’s accounts-payable and accounts-receivable technologies.
- AppTech Payments Corp. said its licensee PayToMe.co, a digital-payments platform, has integrated open-banking capabilities via Plaid Inc.
- Verizon Business and software firm Jobber have launched Tablet Plus, an app for the Verizon tablet for home-services businesses that enables payments acceptance among other functions such as quoting, scheduling, and invoicing.
- American Express Co. announced a variety of enhancements for its cobranded Delta SkyMiles cards, including new rewards categories.
