ParkHub and JustPark Combo and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/22/24

  • Parking management and payment providers ParkHub said it will merge with JustPark, a United Kingdom-based parking reservations and payments platform. Dallas-based ParkHub said the new organization serves more than 20 million drivers and more than 500 business-to-business clients representing more than $1 billion in booking volume. Terms were not disclosed.
  • Payments provider North American Bancard LLC says it has integrated its Payanywhere software platform with recurring-billing provider Chargezoom, a provider of recurring billing technology, to allow Payanywhere merchants to sync transactions with QuickBooks Online.
  • Bank of America Corp. announced an overhaul of its mobile app, which claims 57 million users. The app—which now combines the services of what were five separate apps, BofA, Merrill Edge, MyMerrill, BofA Private Bank, and Benefits OnLine—now also features a single place to pay bills, transfer money, split bills, accept customer payments, and receive domestic and cross-border wire transfers, BofA says.
  • Flywire, a specialist in cross-border payments, said it will integrate its services with VTEX, a digital-commerce platform for educational institutions, to enable payments for tuition and fees for students around the world.
  • Pushpay, whose app enables digital donations at churches and other nonprofits, announced an integration with Virtus, a training and compliance platform for Catholic churches.
  • Link Financial Technologies Inc., which does business as Link Money, said Silicon Valley Bank will process its automated clearing house transactions and money movement on behalf of Link Money merchants. This will help Link Money scales and improve its Pay by Bank product, it said.
  • Credova, a buy now, pay later provider for outdoor recreation and firearms, has decried measures to implement new merchant codes for firearm sales. Credova is a unit of PSQ Holdings Inc., which also operates the PublicSquare marketplace.
  • Josh Cyphers has been appointed to lead the Hyphen Wallet initiative at Hyphen Solutions, a platform that manages payments between builders and suppliers for residential construction. Cyphers comes to the company with experience at Fiserv, Microsoft, and Nike.
