Payfare Lines up Visa Direct and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/29/22

  • Payments provider Payfare Inc. announced it is adding Visa Direct to its platform to enable real-time payouts to gig workers.
  • Cloud-based payments provider Volante Technologies said it is working with the consulting firm KPMG to offer banks cloud technology for real-time payments, along with an advisory service.
  • Mastercard Inc. is working in the United Kingdom with Temenos, a cloud-based banking platform, to offer banks a request-to-pay service that sends a digital request and then triggers payment digitally if approved by the recipient.
  • Restaurant online ordering system provider eHungry Inc. updated its platform to integrate more than 70 payment providers.
  • Innovative MedTech Inc., a health and wellness provider, said it is entering the payments business with a digital payments and benefits platform.

  • Fiserv Inc. said its software point-of-sale technology is enabling transactions on merchants’ own handsets for Magnati, a payments-technology provider in Abu Dhabi.
  • Dine Brands, operator of the Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant chains, has selected payments technology from payments provider FreedomPay.
