- Apartment-rental platform Livly said tenants can make rent payments in cryptocurrency through the Livly Resident Mobile App. Landlords will be paid in U.S. dollars.
- Banking-technology provider Jack Henry & Associates said consumers and businesses will be able to access cryptocurrency trading through the company’s Banno Digital Platform. Jack Henry is partnering with NYDIG, a crypto services provider, to support the feature.
- Payments provider Nuvei Corp. reported total volume of $29.2 billion for the March quarter, up 42% year-over-year, with e-commerce accounting for 88% of the total. Revenue grew 43% to $214.5 million, including organic revenue growth (growth outside of acquisitions) of 32%.
- Wink, a biometric payments and identity platform, announced it raised $2.85 million in pre-seed funding against its $1 million goal. Wink intends to offer a service that eliminates passwords and card numbers from e-commerce transactions.
- Business-payments provider AvidXchange Holdings Inc. said straight-through processing is now available to suppliers paid through the AvidPay network. STP is said to completely automate delivery and receipt of payments.
- Carbon-credit settlement platform Carbonplace announced a successful pilot of transfer of carbon credits in a transaction supported by Visa Inc.
- Processor Adyen said buy now, pay later services from Afterpay Ltd. are now available to Adyen merchants in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Spain.
