- Paysafe Ltd. has agreed to sell its direct marketing payment processing business, including reseller and merchant contracts, to Kort Payments, a company run by Joel Leonoff, Paysafe’s founder and former chief executive. Terms were not announced. Paysafe said this business “consists of direct marketing and other card-not-present volume in both complex and traditional industry verticals” that represents approximately 6% of the company.
- Restaurant point-of-sale technology provider Qu Inc. said the Golden Corral chain will adopt Qu’s commerce technology to move beyond in-store acceptance. The new service integrates Golden Corral’s POS and online ordering system, drive through, and kitchen technology into one. There are 351 Golden Corral locations in 39 states and Puerto Rico.
- Deluxe Corp. has enabled Tap to Pay on iPhone for its U.S. merchants. The software enables merchants to accept contactless payments through Deluxe dlxPay app and an iPhone.
- Processor FIS Inc. has agreed to integrate buy now, pay later services into its debit card offering through its digital banking service, including mobile apps.
- Duck Creek Technologies, a software provider to the insurance industry, said it is working with processor Worldpay to offer Worldpay’s payments service in its Duck Creek Payments services for insurance carriers.
- The parking and payments app ParkHub has agreed to manage parking for customers attending events at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
- Bluefin Payment Systems LLC said it is working with Datecs Ltd., a Bulgaria-based point-of-sale terminal provider, to offer Bluefin’s ShieldConex Orchestration platform on Datecs’ Android-based payment devices.
- Financial services provider StoneX Group Inc. said it will offer cross-border payments to financial institutions via a partnership with Fiserv Inc.
- Payments provider FreedomPay said restaurant chain Subway will use its payment orchestration platform to help with operational efficiency and the payment experience.
