Priority 4Q Revenue up 8.1% and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/17/21

  • Payments provider Priority Technology Holdings Inc. reported fourth-quarter revenue of $106.1 million, up 8.1% year-over-year. Excluding Priority’s RentPayment business, which the company sold in September, revenue grew 12.3% from $94.5 million.
  • Payments provider Flywire Corp. launched Flywire eStore, a platform that supports e-commerce for Flywire clients and their customers. The move follows Flywire’s decision last week to file for an initial public offering that could value the company at $3 billion.
  • Mastercard Inc. said it is working with Liberty Tax to offer direct stimulus payments and tax return funds through prepaid cardholder accounts.
  • The Parking Authority of Fort Lee, N.J., has agreed to let drivers use a parking app from Passport Parking Inc. to find and pay for parking.
  • UL said the international payments standards body EMVCo has accredited it to perform payment testing according to EMV standards for consumer off-the-shelf mobile devices.
  • Cryptocurrency exchange CoinZoom said its branded Visa card can now be loaded into the Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay mobile wallets.

  • Paul Finch, former chief executive of Early Warning Services, has agreed to join the board of FormFree Holdings Corp., a provider of credit decisioning technology for financial institutions. Finch, who retired in 2019, led Early Warning’s 2017 launch of the Zelle peer-to-peer payments service.
