Priority Revenue up 14% and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/6/25

  • Processor Priority Technology Holdings reported fourth-quarter 2024 revenue of $$227.1 million, up 13.9% year-over-year. Revenue for the year totaled $879.7 million, up 16.4% over 2023. The company’s net income swung to a positive $7.2 million for the quarter from a $106,000 loss a year earlier. For the full year, net income was a positive $24 million, compared to a $1.3 million loss in 2023.
  • Software developer Finastra said it will work with payments-technology provider i2c Inc. to offer card-processing capabilities to banks and credit unions in North America.
  • CardFree has collaborated with SoundHound AI to launch an ordering and payment platform built on artificial intelligence.
  • Merchant-services provider PayBright said it has invested in point-of-sale processor Figure Inc. The extent of the investment was not disclosed, though PayBright says it is now Figure’s “largest investor and exclusive payment processing partner.”
  • Health-care payments platform RevSpring Inc. said it and Availity, a provider and payer network, have expanded an existing partnership to include an integration of RevSpring’s PersonaPay payments portal and merchant services with Availity’s Essentials Pro revenue-cycle management platform.
  • Financial platform Airwallex unveiled new embedded finance tools for content creators that includes a wallet to store and manage multiple payment options and a payment acceptance service.
  • Utah Community Credit Union said it will use technology from Alacriti to enhance its electronic bill presentment and payments via Alacriti’s Orbipay EBPP.
  • Astrada, maker of an API for transaction data, said it recently emerged from stealth and that its product can help business customers link existing Visa Inc. and Mastercard Inc. payment cards to their software platforms to view real-time transactions.
  • Lightspeed Commerce Inc. appointed Manon Brouillette executive chair of the board of directors, effective April 1. She is a former chief executive of Verizon Consumer Group and was also formerly president and CEO of Videotron. She joined the board in October 2023.
