Qualpay Adds Google Pay Support and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 1/6/21

  • Payments platform Qualpay said it is now supporting Google Pay transactions in recognition of increasing consumer usage of mobile wallets.
  • Payments-technology provider Cardknox launched a beta version of its partner portal, intended for the use of sales partners and independent sales vendors to onboard and manage merchant-processing accounts.
  • Digital-payments provider Payrailz has launched Action Insights, a service intended to help financial institution customers manage their finances.
  • Electronic Payments Inc. added a Windows application, ProCharge Desktop, to its inventory. The app enables card acceptance at the counter and allows merchants to use their existing software and add a standalone countertop terminal to capture transaction data.
  • MoneyGram International Inc. said cross-border transaction growth for its MoneyGram Online service increased 142% year-over-year. It did not provide actual volume data.
