Relay’s Solid Rock Work and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/1/24

  • Relay Payments Inc. said it is providing payment services to Solid Rock Carriers, an over-the-road trucking company. The move should help Solid Rock’s efforts to streamline payments and reduce fraud, Relay said.
  • Payments provider Payoneer Global Inc. posted fourth-quarter revenue of $224.3 million, a 22.2% increase from $184.6 million in the 2022 fourth quarter. It had a quarterly profit of $27 million, reversing a $10.2 million loss in the prior year quarter. For all of 2023, Payoneer had revenue of $831.1 million, a 32.4% increase from $627.6 million in 2022. Its annual profit of $93.3 million was flat year-over-year.
  • Payment processor Repay Holdings Corp. reported total card-based payment volume of $25.7 billion in 2023, flat with 2022’s volume. Card volume in Repay’s consumer segment grew 6% year-over-year to $21.4 billion.
  • PAX Technology Inc. released the PAX E770 Android-based point-of-sale device. There are countertop and wall-mounted versions of the 10-inch touchscreen tablet.
