  • Online fraud prevention provider Seon announced a free version of its platform, which will support up to 2,000 API calls each month.
  • Online commerce services provider Signifyd released its first holiday season predictions tracker for 2022.
  • American Express Co. said it will pledge $5 million to organizations helping cities and coastal communities tackle climate-related events.
  • The big Paris-based payments processor Worldline has agreed to pay 100 million euros ($100 million) to acquire the merchant-acquiring business of the Italian banking group Banco Desio, which serves 15,000 merchants.
  • Lodgify, whose software enables vacation-property owners to manage their rentals and payments, closed on a $30-million Series B funding round led by Octopus Ventures.
  • A cryptocurrency exchange called Gate.io has launched Gate Pay, a crypto payments service. Gate.io claims more than 12 million users worldwide.
  • Techstars Berlin has invested $120,000 in DLT Payments to help the digital-currency provider to build out platforms for stable coins and Central Bank Digital Currencies.
