- Affirm Inc., provider of point-of-sale installment credit, announced StubHub will use its service to sell event tickets that buyers can pay for over time.
- Chinese tourists in the United States increased their mobile-payments usage in 2019 to 3.1 transactions out of 10 from 2.8 the year before, according to a report released by Nielsen and the Chinese mobile-payments network Alipay. Some 63% of these tourists used mobile payments, the report says.
- Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) said it is accepting applications for the 2020 FIS Fintech Accelerator program. Applications will be accepted through March 6.

- PayPal Holdings Inc. announced that starting this week its Venmo app will allow users to append animated stickers to their messages to indicate the brand of products they are buying. More than 90% of Venmo users already append emojis to their payment messages, the company says.
- Amazon.com Inc. has launched local payments acceptance in Chile via services from cross-border payments specialist dLocal.
- MoneyGram International Inc. said it is working with Abu Dhabi-based Lulu Money, which will use the MoneyGram platform to extend its reach in the Asia-Pacific region and Oman.
