Trust Payments Launches Stor E-Commerce Platform and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/22/22

  • Payments provider Trust Payments launched Stor, an e-commerce platform for small and medium-size businesses, and is inviting independent sales organizations, banks, and other third-party players to market the service to merchants. The new product is based on technology Trust Payments acquired earlier this year.
  • NoFraud, an online fraud prevention service, released NoFraud Checkout, a product upgrade aimed at minimizing cart abandonment.
  • Bolt Financial Inc. said online retailer Fanatics will use its one-click checkout service for its affiliate, partner, and its own e-commerce sites.
  • Payments-technology provider SpotOn has launched Points of Profit, a program aimed at helping restaurants extract more profitability by consolidating their technology.
  • PayMyTuition, a payments platform for schools, launched vendor-management software for colleges and universities in collaboration with Datasoft Global Technologies, a software-engineering company.
  • CommunityBrands, a payments platform for associations, non-profits, and schools, announced it has acquired SimplyFundraisingCRM, a provider of donor-management technology. Terms were not disclosed.
  • Device Authority, a provider of identity and access management, announced it is working with payments and identity provider Entrust to enable large-scale Internet of Things deployments.
  • IDT Corp. said users of its Boss Money remittance service can now send money to Jamaica, where recipients can pick up the cash in Jamaican dollars. Boss Money now offers remittances to 50 countries from the United States.
  • Payments-technology provider Galileo Financial Technologies said it has entered Colombia, furthering a Latin American strategy that saw the company enter Mexico in 2020. Galileo is a unit of SoFi Technologies Inc.
  • Online payments specialist Digital River Inc. named Keith Bush its chief financial officer. Bush most recently was chief financial officer and senior vice president at Deluxe Corp.
