USAePay Debuts EMV Service and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• Payment gateway USAePay launched a browser-based EMV application the enables merchants to accept credit and debit chip card payments.

• Pizza Inn has launched a rewards app offering points to customers who order through the company’s Web site. The app was developed by marketing-services firm Punchh.

• Sweden-based e-commerce-payments provider Klarna said it is buying BillPay, a Germany-based rival, according to Reuters. Klarna has operated in North America since 2015.

• The International Card Manufacturers Association launched a Web site with training resources for card makers, personalization companies, issuers, and suppliers.

• Processing.com, a U.K.-based company that offers e-commerce payments processing internationally, has expanded its sales force by adding three payments veterans: former Ingenico and First Data executive Matthew Harrod; former MasterCard and Visa International executive Nigel Stone; and former CyberSource and Accertify executive Dawn Beeby.
