Vanco’s RevTrak Plan and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/28/24

  • Vanco, a payments-technology provider to more than 3,000 schools, said it is expanding its partnership with Frontline Education, a developer of administrative software for educational institutions, to include Vanco’s RevTrak payments platform, which the company says eases school fees and other payments for families.
  • Adyen NV will process transactions for Aghanim, a U.S. startup that provides monetization technology for mobile-game developers.
  • Cannabis point-of-sale system provider POSaBIT Systems Corp. reported second-quarter revenue of $4.3 million, down 68% from $13.6 million in the 2023 second quarter. POSaBIT did not explain the decrease in revenue. It narrowed its 2Q loss to $435,961 from $1.6 million a year ago.
  • G2 Risk Solutions released an API version of its Global Onboarding product, an artificial intelligence-enhanced merchant-onboarding service.
  • Some 77% of U.S. citizens prefer to pay bills online or with mobile devices, but 18.7% of these users have been victimized by online identity theft, according to the 2024 ACI Speedpay Pulse Report from ACI Worldwide Inc.
