With Paysemble, Opus Looks to Simplify Payment App Integration

Payments-technology provider Opus Technologies Inc. has launched Paysemble, a suite of apps that are meant to streamline payment integration for financial institutions and merchants.

A cloud-based solution, Paysemble allows businesses to consolidate payments from multiple channels through interoperable message hubs, configurable security, and batch processing. As a result, businesses can quickly adapt to new use cases as they emerge, the company says.

In addition, Paysemble supports secure retail, real-time , and cross-border transactions. It also enables connectivity between data silos to speed the integration of new payment technologies with legacy platforms using application programming interfaces. This is reportedly done without disrupting existing workflows.

The Message Translator feature within Paysemble, for example, enables  communication and data exchange between diverse systems to facilitate faster payments, according to Opus.

Another feature within Paysemble is the Workflow Orchestrator, which Opus says makes it easier for businesses to develop new solutions by providing a core framework based on a specific set of application programming interfaces, built-in data models, and pre-configured workflows. The Workflow Orchestrator’s API-based framework allows businesses to seamlessly integrate new apps with a variety of platforms, the company adds.

Paysemble also reportedly enables faster backend integration with standardized payment rails, including The Clearinghouse’s RTP platform network and FedNow, the Federal Reserve’s real-time payments network.

Overall, according to Opus, Paysemble is aimed at letting businesses more rapidly develop and deploy new features, adapt to changing market demands, and integrate with a diversity of communication channels.

“Paysemble forms the foundational block to implement core payment functionalities that can be extended to all business-specific use cases,” Opus says in a blog on its Web site.
