  • The Accredited Standards Committee X9 Inc. said it is seeking participants for a newly-formed a study group on faster and real-time payments. The ASC X9 develops national and international standards for the financial-services industry.
  • Payments-technology provider Payfacto Payments Inc. has partnered with Community Federal Savings Bank to launch a merchant-acquiring unit for the U.S. market at CFSB.
  • Huntington Bancshares Inc. said it is upgrading the software across its fleet of 1,330 ATMs and replacing 400 machines by Dec. 31 with Hyosung ATMs. The software also is provided by Hyosung.
  • Core processor Jack Henry & Associates Inc. announced some 800 financial institutions have migrated to the company’s new debit, credit, and ATM platform.
  • Bluefin Payment Systems LLC added several point-of-sale devices to its PCI Security Standards Council-validated point-to-point encryption listings.
  • Brightpearl, a retailer services provider, said Shopify Inc. selected it to aid distribution of Shopify’s retail hardware.
  • ClientPay, a digital-payment service for law firms, announced an integration with Connect Payment Pages, which allows clients to make payments online without logging in.
  • Rewards Network announced its online-ordering facility for restaurants is being expanded nationwide after testing in Tampa, Fla., and Detroit. Rewards Network is a provider of financing, marketing, and loyalty services to the hospitality business.
  • Payments-technology provider BHMI announced its Concourse Financial Software Suite now supports all forms of payment, including digital wallet and open-banking transfers as well as card-based and non-card transactions.
  • Ria Money Transfer, a cross-border money transfer subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide Inc., said it received a payment institution license in Lithuania, enabling Ria to further expand in Europe.
  • Mastercard Inc. announced it has named veteran executives Craig Vosburg chief product officer and Linda Kirkpatrick president for North America, with both new roles taking effect Jan. 1.
